The Serra del Montsec and its surroundings meet exceptional conditions in terms of the absence of light pollution, which makes them of excellent quality for the contemplation of the starry sky and the realization of activities based on astronomy. This exceptional sky led the Montsec Consortium to start the process of certifying Montsec as a Starlight Tourist Destination in 2012. In 2013, Montsec was declared a Starlight Tourist Destination and Starlight Reserve. The Astronomical Park of Montsec located in the municipality of Àger, is a center of reference with facilities for the dissemination of astronomy and with educational activities for the family. Our house is a privileged place for observation of the starry sky. In this environment isolated from light pollution you can enjoy an unforgettable astronomical observation, place telescopes both for observation and for taking photographs.
