Santa Linya

Santa Linya located on a large hill in the shadow of the ruins of the medieval Castle, overlooking the ravine of Sant Miquel, is the smallest town in the municipality with an old case with the church of Santa Maria from the 16th century and the Hermitage Romanesque of Sant Salvador.

The large Cova Gran de Santa Linya faces south, equipped with numerous and impressive climbing routes up to the ninth degree, it is a climber’s paradise and is internationally recognized. La Cova is a Neanderthal archaeological site discovered in 2002 which is closed in the summer for excavations. Declared cultural asset of national interest.

The hermitage of Sant Pere de Queralt 11th and 12th centuries located on a rocky hill inside the Sant Pere ravine. You can go from the village or from closer to the Balconet de Santa Linya, great viewpoint of the Camarasa reservoir and great bird observatory.

One of the places that deserves a visit is the small valley of Montclús, in front of the Camarasa reservoir. Where are the remains of the vanished town of Montclús, where we find the remains of Montclús Castle, an archaeological complex surrounded by large spiers and cliffs, surrounded by a landscape that will not leave you indifferent where the Romanesque Hermitage of Sant Urbà is preserved.
