Serra del Montsec

The Serra del Montsec is one of the most impressive natural jewels of our region. With its landscapes sculpted by the passage of time, this mountain range invites us to enter a world of beauty and diversity.

The pre-pyrenean range of Montsec with a extension of 40 km and a height of 1677 m., is divided from east to west by the La Noguera Pallaresa and La Noguera Ribagorçana rivers, which cross it through the Terradets and Mont-Rebei gorges forming Montsec de Rúbies, Montsec d’Ares and Montsec de l’Estall.

Walking through the mountains will allow you to enjoy some impressive panoramas. In the mountain you can go hiking, mountain biking, climbing, paragliding, bird watching and even contemplate the night sky because the mountain is a Starlight Reserve area.
